Consolidated Tires uses a state-of-the-art shot blaster and powder coat refinishing system that is cost effective for you and provides you with a professional-looking and compliant finish for your wheel surface.

Why should you refurbish a wheel or rim?

  1. OSHA issued regulations in 1984 mandating the removal of rust, dirt, and debris from the bead seat area of the wheel or rim.
  2. Once a wheel has been completely stripped of its old coating along with dirt and other debris, it is much easier to spot cracks and other defects in the wheel that may require it to be removed from service.
  3. Once a professional finish is applied, tires are much easier to mount and dismount, decreasing the chance of tire bead damage and promoting a better bead seat for air pressure retention.
  4. Keeping a fresh, clean coating on your rim or wheel will result in longer service miles.
  5. The "like-new" look of your refurbished wheel or rim will enhance the appearance of your vehicle(s) and overall image of your company.
